Mission charities

As part of the church’s mission it supports two ongoing international projects, namely the International Justice Mission and the White Eagle project of Uganda River of Life Ministries, the latter of which one of our members is a trustee. In addition, on an annual basis  we endeavour to support a national or local charity.  Money for donations is raised through fund raising events and individual gifts.

As soon as Covid regulations permit we fully intend to resume our  fund raising

White Eagle project

On Boxing day 1999, Duncan and Mary Kibaya, founders of River of Life church in Masaka, Uganda took in 21 boys from the streets of Nyendo, an extremely poor trading area of Masaka.  In 2005 the work of the White Eagle project was extended to care for girls. The project helps children who are particularly vulnerable because they are  orphans, former street children, or in abusive and/or acutely impoverished situations.

Where  possible, they now  help children through the White Eagle Family support initiative  that helps families care for and educate their children. Alternatively they offer family life through their boys and girls homes. In addition to receiving good education, children are equipped and trained in all  areas of life so that they are empowered to reach their full potential.
